Job Description

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our client in Rochester, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

- System Integration and Testing – As a member of the Falcon III Systems Assurance and Validation Team, primary responsibilities to include field and lab development testing of software and hardware.
- User oriented focus and validation of over the air performance.
- Generation of trouble reports (TRs) to communicate issues found and characterize repeatability.
- Work w/ development engineers to suggest and support TR resolutions.
- Refinement of team procedures, practices, radio coverage prediction and analysis, and collection and reporting of performance data to ensure continuous improvement in execution of tests and minimization of development costs while maintaining a high standard of equipment performance.
- May also include some work w/ development and system engineers to evaluate and refine system capabilities; and work w/ mechanical engineering to design and document system configurations, cable/accessory designs, metalwork, mounting and other aspects of integration and installation as required.
- May also involve occasional support to new business pursuit activities including demos, proposals, generation of applications info (e.g. diagrams, writeups, etc.), and occasional travel and customer interaction to support these activities.
- Support to maintenance of Division Test Vehicle Fleet and Other Infrastructure – support of additional team responsibilities in the area of mgmt and maintenance of the division's fleet of test vans and test sites.
- Level of involvement to vary based on other assigned tasks/workload.
- Role could extend beyond, including logistics, test, and support to other groups within the company.

Job Requirements

- 2-5 years work experience
- High School or equivalent
- Military Experience - Operation Radios
- IP Network Concept
