Yoh/Rochester, NYYoh has a contract to hire opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our client in Rochester, NY
 
Job Responsibilities:

- Qualify bench performance of telecomm devices.

- Perform field testing of telecomm device in noisy RF environments

- Apply protocol and telecom signaling knowledge and technical expertise to develop and adapt current commercial solutions to work in new environments

 
Job Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Technology  Degree or Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering and 3+ years applicable experience in architecting and implementing complex software solutions, and a deep understanding of Mobile Communication Systems and Networks.

- Knowledge of  GSM and CDMA2000  technologies and networking, specifically protocols and telecom signaling

- Knowledge of programming language such as C or C++ and/or scripting languages such as Perl or Labview.

- Has worked previously with Telecomm Signaling Analyzers, Spectrum analyzers and Oscilloscopes

- Experience with end user, installation and commissioning of new systems within customer environments is desirable

- Experience with configuration management environments and defect tracking systems

- Strong interpersonal/relationship skills, solid written and verbal communications
