kikin makes the web more enjoyable by integrating search, social networking, sharing, your favorite sites, and when available, content that is relevant to what you are doing. kikin brings all of this to you immediately, i.e. no need to open a new tab, click over to a new site and/or go to search. kikin is a private company that was founded by successful serial entrepreneurs, and is located in exciting SoHo, New York City. For more details or to try kikin, please visit www.kikin.com.

kikin engineers work on a variety of hard problems (semantic indexing, named entity recognition, federated search, behavioral profiling, on-the-fly 3D presentation, latency reduction, etc.). We work in several programming languages to best solve each problem (Java, python, PHP, JavaScript, C++, Objective C); and by leveraging several programs and markups (Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, SVG), we design and build elegant user interfaces. Our application spans a user’s domain (browser plug-in with a JavaScript business layer); reaches our servers and CDNs; and extends to third party APIs (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Amazon). We learn something new and make our product better every day … and this is what makes it so fun to come to work.
