Entry Software Engineer (SQL)
Design and develop Software Engineering Tools for the DeltaV process control system and a new generation of products using incremental development techniques, object-oriented analysis and design skills, and Microsoft technologies (like VC#, WPF, WCF, and SQL).
Candidate must demonstrate versatility and self motivation. Good communication skills are important. Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment with disciplined development practices. Must have a few years of experience in software development and a general understanding of object-oriented design and analysis. Experience with Microsoft development tools and an understanding of the Windows operating system is required. VC#, WPF, WCF, client/server, SQL, XML, and XAML experience is a plus. Process control and/or real-time software experience is also a plus.
Educational Requirements:
BS Engineering or Computer Science + 0 years OR BS Eng or Comp Sci + 2 years; OR MS Eng or Comp Sci + 1 year
-3.0 GPA or above strongly preferred
