Expert Javascript/Jquery/HTML specialist (Manhattan)

We are a rapidly growing professional services / consulting firm, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Manhattan. We are seeking a talented presentation layer developer.

Your initial project will be to deliver a high-profile application for an investment banking client. You will be a front-end specialist on a multidisciplinary team, and you will be expected to provide leadership and technical excellence at the presentation tier of the application.

Skills needed:

* Expert level Javascript programming skills

* Deep understanding of HTML markup, standards, best practices, and current developments

* Deep knowledge of Jquery and other popular plugins

* Deep knowledge of best practices and patterns

* Ability to create solutions compatible with multiple browser platforms

* Ability to test and refactor Javascript code easily

* Familiary with server-side technologies / MVC a plus

* Professional demeanor and good communications skills

* Familiarity with or enthusiasm for Scrum or other agile process a plus
