FULL-TIME ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER FOR $10 MILLION ONLINE RETAILER (Hollywood, CA)
Melrose Jewelers, (MelroseJewelers.com) a leading online luxury wristwatch retailer with over $10 million in 2010 revenues and projecting over $15 million in 2011 revenues is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Marketing Manager to join its expanding team. This individual will work directly under the Director of Marketing and in conjunction with our in-house and India-based web development team, affiliate marketing team, 12-employee team, and SEO office in an effort to prepare the company for acquisition by a larger entity in 2012.
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for aiding and optimizing efforts in the following areas:
-Social media marketing
-Content creation
-Affiliate marketing
-Landing Page Optimization
-Promotional material creation and quality control
-Website traffic and analytics analysis
-Reputation management
-New product profile creation and optimization
-Website quality control

With revenues growing nearly 100%,year-over-year, Melrose Jewelers is seeking employees who are able to rapidly think on their feet and who are capable of contributing to the productivity of the company as a whole. We prefer to hire only the brightest graduates out of top colleges, offering a success oriented environment catering towards entrepreneurial development.
The hours are approximately 8 AM to 6 PM on weekdays with occasional work on weekends. Pay is $38,000/year plus ability to earn equity stock options, a performance-based annual bonus, healthcare benefits, as well as other company perks such as Lakers basketball and other sports tickets.

REQUIREMENTS (no exceptions):
*College degree from a top-50 ranked 4-year U.S. university (The current team includes multiple University of Southern California, UCLA, Stanford, & Cal 4-year grads) *GPA of 3.0 or above (will be verified) *Intermediate knowledge of social network environments, including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
*Basic understanding of online marketing, including PPC, CPA, SEO, affiliate marketing, and display advertising.
*Ability to harvest, organize and prepare online marketing data for managerial review and implementation.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills, energy, and positive attitude *Must live in Los Angeles or L.A. county (Office is in Hollywood) *The basics: stable household, a working car, and no criminal record *The ability to work during the winter holiday season as we perform most of our sales during this time. (Christmas day is off)
