Yoh/San Francisco, CAYoh has a contract opportunity for a Global Compensation Manager to join our client in San Francisco, CA.

- Our client has already become an industry leader in speed of delivering plans to sales reps. As the company continues to grow, it will face a greater volume of plans with expanding diversity. To maintain their important tradition of speed, they will need a senior leader who can instill policy discipline to ensure scalability and efficiency of incentive compensation processes.
- The Global Sales Commission team (GSC), part of the CFO organization, partners with the World Wide Sales Incentive Design team (WWSID) (Sales), to develop plan designs and the related systems, processes and analytics to implement and operate under those plans. The related systems include functionality in our client's internal use of our client's, Xactly Incentives modules and our data warehouse.
- This team interfaces directly with sales, sales ops and other stakeholders to ensure to provide training, documentation and policy regarding deal structures and related comp options.

Job Overview:

- The person in this role will own two important aspects of our global commissions operations: the planning and processes related to our plan design and rollout, and the analytics that provide critical business insight for sales and our CFO.
- This role is responsible for the front-end of the global sales commission operations that includes the integration and alignment with their order management systems and the sales ops team, the integrated project planning for the annual compensation redesign and implementation, and the portion of the GSC team that is responsible for data quality, the crediting data and related policies and processes captured within our client's application and the related processes.
- This position will partner with the Senior Manager, Sales Compensation Operations who manages the monthly incentive calculations and payment processes, and exceptions process and the Senior Business Systems Lead who manages the development and implementation of Xactly Incentives
- This individual will work with systems teams, GSC team, Incentive Design and Sales Strategy teams on the definition of our client's systems specifications to ensure supportability of plans and policies in the commissions system. It is critical that this role understand the systems used by Finance/Operations to so that constraints are considered in the policy definition phase. It is also critical for this role to act as the voice of Sales in improving those systems.  

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the global Rev Ops FY12 Project team and project plan to implement the new fiscal year plans, including our client and Xactly requirements  
- Partner effectively with the WWSID team and several other GSC team members (SF and global) to collaborate on plan design and systems/process requirements to ensure plans are measurable and can be paid accurately and timely.  
- Design and implement the analytics to provide critical insight into the effectiveness of our commission plans and the related product and activity metrics.
- Manage the teams responsible for the interface between our client and Xactly system and the quality of crediting data captured
- Communicate globally to all regions on scope, timing, process and implementation.
- Document business requirements, including business value and stakeholder alignment to participate in prioritization process for systems implementation planning cycles.
- Partner with the GSC team members in plan rollout, including compensation plan communication and the training of policies and 'practice guides' related to new plans, systems features and business processes worldwide

Job Qualifications:

- 8+ years experience in operations or finance ideally in the enterprise software industry with 3+ years managing people
- 3+ years experience with a working knowledge of incentive compensation plans in an environment with automated commission payments (Calludus, Xactly, ICM, Oracle, etc.)
- 5+ years experience in developing and reporting critical business metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency of business processes, especially with judicious use of technology (e.g. database applications)
- Demonstrated ability to manage change
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to on-time completion
- Excellent communication skills and tactful diplomacy
- A preference for analytical approaches to solving problems
- Skilled with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline.
