GRAPHIC DESIGNER HTML/CSS/Photoshop For $10 MILLION ONLINE RETAILER (Hollywood, CA)

Melrose Jewelers, a leading online luxury wristwatch retailer projecting over $11 million in 2011 revenues, is currently seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join its growing team. This individual will work directly under the Chief Technology Officer and in conjunction with our in-house marking team.
Candidates Must Be Proficient In the Following Areas:

  • Skilled in graphic design, layout, color theory and typography and production for the Web. Experience with design of Marketing and collateral materials is a must and portfolio must demonstrate this.
  • Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, HTML/CSS, Javascript
  • Ability to turn projects around quickly, must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • A sharp eye for content, close attention to details, excellent self-motivation.
  • Can work collaboratively and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of PHP, MYSQL5, AJAX, Flash  is a Plus

Melrose Jewelers is a rapidly expanding business (revenues up 40% year-over-year) operating in a $2 billion market, and currently owns the leading retail luxury watch websites in the U.S.,  U.K., and Canada—with over 1 million unique annual users. The motivated, successful CTO’s Assistance hired for this position will earn $40,000/year in full-time base salary.
