Job Overview:
Our client needs an Informatica Developer/Architect who will combine technical expertise with proven understanding of CMS (content management system) to migrate data from existing cms system to new cms system. The candidate will partner with team members responsible for CMS development and database team to architect and create a framework for data migration.
Job Responsibilities:

- Work with developers, business analysts to understand user requirements  
- Adhere to software development standards, procedures and techniques 

Job Qualifications:

- Five or more years in design and development of `extract-transform-load` (ETL) jobs using Informatica, Used Power Center, Metadata Manager, Data Explorer and other modules.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, concepts and methods.
- Expert in design and development of Informatica ETL jobs for data warehouse, operational data store (ODS) and dimensional models.
- Good knowledge of MS sqlserver and MySql databases.
- Experience in configuration management, version control, mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows.
- Must be able to read and write data from/to database queues
- Experience in creating mappings for real time data movement, web services and batch.
- Experience in performance tuning, unit testing
- Understand source and Client data structures.
- Ability to participate and represent the development function in the development and project lifecycles 

Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Education:

- XML transformation.
