TARGET AUDIENCE
Microsoft Wroclaw Development Center Internship Program is directed to 3rd and 4th year students with C#, ASP.NET, MVC.NET programming skills, passion for coding or passion for testing. Some knowledge of .NET web technologies or experience in testing is a big advantage.
DURATION: 3 months (July - September 2011)
KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED
After a 3-month Internship Program at Microsoft Wroclaw Development Center students will get a solid foundation for working as a Software Developer Engineer or Software Developer Engineer in Test. The knowledge to be acquired during this program includes the fields of:
• C# programming skills
• Unit Testing
• Scrum Methodology
• ASP.MVC
• Visual Studio
• IIS
• Fundamentals of testing methodologies
• Development and use of test tools
• Cooperation between test and development teams
• Working in group
METHODS OF WORK
Microsoft Wroclaw Development Center offers the Internship Program in full time mode.
The contractor will be a part of our team and participate as a member in everyday stand up meetings (in Scrum/Agile Methodology) and presentations of created products during Sprint Reviews.
On daily basis, the internship program participant will use the following work assistance tools:
• Jira + wiki
• TFS / Source Depot
• Visual Studio 2008/2010
• internal communicators
• test automation
• Manual testing
• Security testing
• Test tools development
As a Microsoft Intern you will have your commitments set up by you manager, 1:1 meetings which help you with you daily work. During Checkpoint and Final Review you will get a feedback of your performance and your manager`s assessment and recommendation.
