Web Site Designer Intern

We are looking for a Web Site Designer intern to help design, implement and improve or computer IT services department internal computer software program as well as working on other IT related projects.

This department facilitates collaboration of services between the services division and the value-added reseller division. The site helps track partner program operations, project planning, and project tracking. The Web Site Designer intern will have opportunities to apply practical experience and gain valuable business experience in a high-tech company by being exposed to business operations helping to facilitate work across internal teams.

Preferred:

* Education: Working toward a BS degree in Web Design or IT Engineering

* Web site design experience and programming skills, including proficiency with HTML

* Basic project and program management knowledge desirable

* Capable of organizing and managing multiple projects

* Understanding of relational databases and knowledge in data analysis.

Experience with MS Access and MS SQL a plus

* Familiarity with MS Office

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Understanding and knowledge of software and hardware development cycles

* Outstanding interpersonal communication skills

Required:

• Working on a Bachelors Degree in Web Design or Computer Engineering

• Good communication skills are essential for team-based working

• Keen interest in pursuing a career in the field of IT and Web communications

• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment

• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges

Note: this internship is not paid, but it is a great opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience. College credit can be given if applicable

Location is Westchester County, Harrison, NY.

Schedule will be flexible. It can be 3 days a week and days can be flexible Monday - Friday.
