The Job: Were looking for an experienced front-end web developer and user interface engineer. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in web design and development. Individual must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members. Individual must be a creative thinker, detail-oriented, confident and able to express ideas in an articulate, well thought-out manner. Ability to manage up to two other team members, multi-task and prioritize deadlines is a must. Must haves:

  • 3+ years professional web development experience
  • A solid grasp on Illustrator and Photoshop
  • The ability to create concise efficient cross-browser HTML, JS, CSS, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of UI best practices and usability
  • Code like a developer, think like a designer (an eye for pixel perfection)

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Prototype, Scriptaculous, Git
  • Fluent in Chinese
