Microsoft Human Resources Engineering (HRE) is seeking a talented, proven developer to join our team. Demonstrate your exceptional C#, ASP.NET, AJAX and SQL skills (SharePoint a plus) to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to thousands of users. Evaluate new and competing technologies to identify their strategic value. Collaborate on architectural tradeoffs using traditional and Cloud technologies.

You must have a solid understanding of software engineering principles, deep knowledge of the .NET platform, and be proficient in developing enterprise level software. You must possess exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines, and have a proven track record of delivering secure, efficient and high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:
B.A. / B.S. in information systems, software engineering, computer science or related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing distributed systems including proven experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, Web Services and SQL Server.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with ambiguous or incomplete information.
Proven ability to prepare technical specifications that follow SDLC standards.
Proven ability to work effectively with related teams, including PM and QA.
Proven ability to accurately identify and estimate design and implementation tasks.
Proven ability to evaluate emerging technologies and build detailed prototypes.
Proven ability to design and develop reliable, secure and maintainable solutions.
Proven ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions utilizing sound judgment and negotiating skills.
Demonstrated experience developing solutions with SharePoint is a big plus.
Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills using Design Patterns is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
