RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collaborate with the usability and design team to define prototypes of dynamic web pages and JavaScript components.
* Implement page designs in standards-compliant, dynamic HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* Integrate functionality with the app, using JavaScript, AJAX and Java/JSP.
* Work closely with Java back-end developers.
* Writing automated functional tests for web pages.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Extensive knowledge hand-coding HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
* Good understanding of JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery, YUI)
* Excellent communication skills.
* Any experience in Java web development would be useful.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
* 3+ years in a professional standards-based web development role
