Yoh/Burbank, CAYoh has an opportunity for a Junior Developer (Data Mining) in Universal City, CA. This is currently a long term, 12 month contract with NBC Universal.
Job Overview:

- NBC Universal is seeking an experienced developer to assist with process automation, developing crawling technology, and research and design projects.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop applications for web crawling and data mining
- Assist Senior Developer with automation and R&D of new strategies
- Collaborate with other developers to plan and design server and client applications
- Document code and system designs
- Maintain and support internal processes and applications

Job Qualifications:

- 2 or more years experience with distributed programming
- Prior experience with automation, crawling, and moving large amounts of data
- Java, C#, PHP; Python or Delphi a plus
- Experience with JSON and XML, including parsing, schemas, and transformation
- Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux development environments
- Experience working with relational databases (RDBMS)

Educational Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area
