Imagination Publishing/Chicago, IL (West Loop)Imagination is looking for a junior-level designer who will design multiple social media (mostly Facebook) applications, pages and tabs for a Fortune 500 client. On a daily basis you will create online experiences from concept to design comp, and then take projects through the development process. You are current with the latest Web design thinking, both aesthetically and technically.

Your responsibilities will include designing Facebook app, pages and ads, creating wireframes/mockups, PSD comps and completed HTML. You will work with developers and the account teams to make your designs come alive and you have a keen eye for making improvements.

Skills/Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior work experience or relevant education (B2C websites or social media apps a big plus)
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
• Warm disposition towards Mac development environments (or similar)
• Ability to layout and finish HTML designs in a text editor
• Enthusiasm and interest in working within a development environment, including basic editing of PHP and other web-based languages
• Interest/experience with user-centered experience design
• Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
• Plays well with others
• Able to take and give constructive design feedback
• Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
• Great communication skills
