Yoh/Alexandria, VAYoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a Lead Security Analyst to join our client in Alexandria, VA. 
Possession of a TS/SCI Security Clearance is required as a condition for employment.
 Job Responsibilities:  

- Provide system security analysis for the Stockpile Operations Branch of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA/NSPO) supporting several information systems (classified and unclassified) deployed worldwide.
- Support DTRA/NSPO Program Manager and Information Assurance Officer in compliance with DoD Instruction 8500.2 roles and responsibilities.
- Organize system security activities to ensure DTRA/NSPO system certifications and accreditations are maintained in accordance with DIACAP/DITSCAP standards.  
- Obtain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) at Agency, Service and local levels. Provide updates to the DTRA CIO for reporting.    
- Develop and monitor office and system security policies, procedures and security training of staff and users in accordance with Federal, DoD, and DTRA regulations.
- Research and recommend operational and security requirements for system software and hardware upgrades.  Document network structure including architecture, protection mechanisms, ports and protocols and NSA certification of encryption devices to ensure the protection of classified government information.
- Conduct site surveys for deployment of classified workstations worldwide, document physical security at sites for accreditation.
- Act as staff representative at conferences and special meetings on Information Security matters.  Brief DTRA/NSPO security status at periodic management review meetings.
- Plan and implement system security activities including the work of one subordinate.  
- Performs all other work as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

- CISSP
- Detailed knowledge of DIACAP/DITSCAP certifications and accreditations process
- Working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and DCID standards
- Working knowledge of DISA STIG process
- Working knowledge of DoD Directive 8570.01-M IA Workforce Improvement Program
- B.S. Degree required or direct work experience may substitute for education
- Five to seven (5-7) years of experience

- Certification and Accreditation of Information System
- Obtain and maintain appropriate system security certification (IAM-2) in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M within 6 months
