Primary role is to lead in troubleshoot and testing daily support issues and coordination of migration activities between the Testing and Production Environments for a Learning Management System and SCORM Web Based Training (WBT) solutions, specifically Docent 6.5 and SumTotal LMS 8.x applications. Lead small to medium size projects to support evolving client needs and provide direct support of training content within the Learning Management System.
Additional Applicant Responsibilities
Consult with a client to ensure product awareness is thoroughly understood and identify any existing gaps between product functionality and client business need based on use case definition and analysis.
Provide research and analysis on behalf of the client for both products and processes to propose solutions that utilize Hewitt's standard solution package, new process considerations, and document associated benefits and risks.
Provide project leadership on projects to insure timely and successful implementation of products and services, or enhancement to existing products.
Assist Account managers, clients and internal staff to facilitate project meetings with various customer departments, functional areas and/or vendors.
Work with internal technology teams to coordinate individual efforts and the timing of deliverables
Ensure performance standards are met/contract and training project commitments adhered to.
Work with internal service delivery teams to monitor and measure the success of the implementation project

Provides stellar leadership and technical experience in capturing requirements for configuring/modifying the LMS application for clients as well as integrating LMS applications with other enterprise software applications.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, i.e., determining functional design specifications, enhancing or creating potential business applications with user input, or simply recommending process simplification solutions.
Ability to provide application/technical support and assess a client's current technical infrastructure and technical readiness. Must be a technical problem solver.
Leads requirements meetings to establish both functional and technical specifications.
Performs a gap analysis of the desired future state business process and assesses the individual impact for each identified gap
Provides niche consulting regarding use of learning technologies such as LCMS, SCORM Authoring Packages and Tools, and e-learning deliverables for large scale enterprise clients
Supports systems integration and user acceptance testing activities.
Creates requirements and application design documentation.

Qualifications:
Education and Professional Experience
Bachelors degree in a business or technical area and 3 years of LMS implementation and support experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to interact with business executives as well as end-users, have excellent customer service skills, and debug application code. Proficiency with various project management methodologies and tools is required. A combination of other education and experience will be considered.
Prerequisite Experience
Applicant should meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
At least 4 years in consultative environment regarding learning technology based deliverables with or for Fortune 500 companies
At least 2 unique implementation of learning management systems/learning content management systems. Must have 2-4 years Learning Management Systems experience, preferably either working closely with a technical development team (programmers) within any industry, or a recognized LMS provider, or an Analyst role co-coordinating the implementation of an LMS
At least 2 years of applied knowledge and proven ability to perform client management, write clear and persuasive business cases, produce concise business requirements and use cases, review technical specifications and employ SDLC best practices.
At least 3 years professional work experience with technical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
At least 1 year of software test management and script development experience
At least 4 years experience managing a multi-tiered web-based LMS application.
At least 4-7 years experience working with an RDBMS (SQL Server and/or Oracle).
Strong record of positive relationships with clients, suppliers, vendors & extended work teams.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of web based technologies (web servers, web services).
Strong knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Ability to code in HTML, JavaScript, VB, C , ASP/JSM, SQL.
E-learning Authoring is a plus.
