Mid-Sen. Level UX/Interaction Designer (Midtown)

A small development shop in NYC currently has a very innovative Social Media / Mobile Application project underway and requires a strong Mid-Senior Level UX/Interaction Designer. (Freelance-Onsite Assignment!)

*The ideal candidate will have worked on at least ONE mobile application project*

*Candidate must be able to interview/start immediately!*

*Must have strong with Adobe InDesign!*

Requirements:

• Experience conducting and analyzing research and usability tests

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences

• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work experience in user-centered interaction solutions

• A mastery of web standards, user-centered design principles, knowledge of the software development process

• Strong skills in mediating and resolving competing requirements and designs

• Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate uses of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and Flash

• Understanding of SEO and SEM
