The Multimedia Developer position is responsible for creative and effective animated and interactive media design and development for client performance improvement solutions (external and internal). This position supports access and use of Omega Performance's new content management system (CMS). It will continuously research technology and delivery tools to enhance and increase our effectiveness and profitability in meeting our clients' strategic objectives. This position is also charged to interact and collaborate with third party technology vendors, support the Development and Delivery Director, Developers, Designers, CMS Project Manager, Product Managers, Consultants, and others with design, implementation, and administration of unique technical activities. They will assist with creation and alteration of online learning modules delivered via various methods (illustrations, designs, icons, logos, and more in a digital environment).

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for and assists others in the design, development, and production of interactive programs such as Web-Based Training (WBT), and others in a timely manner within budget. This position will support synchronous and asynchronous training products to meet the defined needs of our clients.

• Working with team of designers and developers to create e-learning products
• Programming and supporting multimedia development projects for various customers.
• Working with a variety of multimedia technologies including digital audio, video, CD-ROM, DVD and internet/intranet related tools.
• Developing and programming highly interactive computer-based and web-based training courses using the latest development software and methodologies.
• Collaborating on design and production of materials in video, slide, audio, computer and print formats to meet instructional objectives.
• Training and mentoring existing staff on application capabilities to provide bench strength in the design team.
• Participating in all phases of design and development of online training products.
• Analyzing existing online content for message design and consistency and technical accuracy.
• Working with interactive media software, audio and video platforms to customize or develop appropriate training delivery mode, acting as subject matter expert regarding technology and delivery methods
• Completing project fulfillment activities which result in deliverable assets for learning solutions to include and not limited to: eLearning modules, media components, etc. using a variety of tools such as Xyleme, Flash, Captivate, Articulate, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Demonstrating expertise in Flash to enhance Xyleme templates capabilities to create eLearning output.
• Partnering with Director, Developers, Project Manager, Product Managers, Consultants, etc. to create media assets for incorporation into learning solutions using a variety of tools including, but not limited to: Flash development, Adobe Connect/Captivate, Graphic design and placement, audio, etc.
• Providing sales support in client interactions when proposals or agreements include or are proposing technology-based or blended solutions
• Collaborating on and coordinating content rendition activities through the CMS as needed for multimedia client solutions.
• Researching and staying current with learning technology tools, applications, processes, and standards to continually enhance and update content.

Qualifications:
• B.S. in Graphic Design or related field required
• Minimum of 3 years as a graphic designer is required, preferably in the development of eLearning/technology-based training programs
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of ActionScript and JavaScript (i.e., HTML, XML)
• Competency in MicroSoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
• The ability to produce training programs using Flash plus knowledge of Captivate, Articulate, Lectora is a plus
• Understanding/experience with e-Learning standards, to include SCORM and Section 508 requirements a plus
• Experience using distributed learning management tools such as Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems a plus
• Knowledge of Xyleme a plus
