.NET Software Architect / Yoh / Malvern, PA
Yoh/Malvern, PAYoh has a 3 - 6 month contract opportunity for a .NET Software Architect to join our client in Malvern, PA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate frameworks and technology for inclusion in the platform, including making recommendations
- Transform requirements and product goals into an architecture for new components and/or modifications to existing components
- Communicate and monitor architectural decisions and intent with Scrum teams
- Work across multiple Scrum teams, and assist during design, development and testing
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software architecture experience AND 5+ years of software development
- Expert mastery of C# programming language, Microsoft IIS and Microsoft Sql Server
- Ability to prototype a system end-to-end
- Expertise is desired with some combination of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, clustered load-balanced web transaction servers, optimizing web transactions, mobile applications, online advertising
- Knowledge of open source and technologies outside the Microsoft stack will be considered an advantage
- Broad knowledge of technologies within the Microsoft stack and its real-world application within the industry, especially in challenging high end systems
- Knowledge of architecting large (internet or enterprise), low latency, high throughput systems with a focus on scaling the server side
- Good communication skills and ability to actively engage in discussions with stakeholders
- Ability to help teams converge on a solution that takes into consideration many tradeoffs
- Assertive and persuasive personality, working well in an informal team
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems
- MSc/PhD preferred
