Responsibilities

Performs as a team member on a highly leveraged Network Security Operations team, managing and supporting all aspects of Hewitt's network security infrastructure. Participation on business projects and provide network security consulting. This individual may also be involved in evaluation, deployment and support of mission critical network security infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• BlueCoat proxy SG and AV experience a must

• Network firewalls (Cisco FWSM/PIX, IPFilter, PF, Juniper SRX, Open/Free BSD)

• IP network addressing,subnets, routing

• Intermediate Unix skills

• In depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols including: ICMP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, TLS

• Excellent analysis, problem solving and trouble shooting skills

• A minimum of 3 years of technical experience in Network Security with a solid foundation of skills/tools

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team

• Risk vs. reward analysis

• Defense in depth security

• On-call rotational pager support
