OmniUpdate has an immediate opening for a User Interface (UI) Design Engineer to create software designs leading to exceptional end-user experiences. The successful candidate will work with OmniUpdate engineers, programmers, and clients to generate UI design ideas, create working application mockups, and lead usability testing. He or she will also champion important design decisions for a substantial impact on the final product. A top candidate must demonstrate a passion for great user interface design, be able to craft working prototypes and have a keen attention to detail.Responsibilities

  • UI design of software and web applications
  • Rapid development of design concepts in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Rapid development of design prototypes in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Manage interface design process
  • Optimize and standardize design elements and maintain style guides

Required Skills

  • Passion for great user experience through design
  • UI design experience
  • Photoshop and Illustrator expertise
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience

Desirable Background

  • Great portfolio of design and web applications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Work experience involving application software
