Online Marketing Manager
ONLINE MARKETING MANAGER FOR LESTERS.COM
Lesters clothing stores has been in business for over 60 years in the NY area and is going online for the first time. The website will be live in Summer 2011. We have partnered with a top Web-Design/SEO company to bring our retail experience online. The Manager of E-Commerce is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the companys e-commerce site, as well as helping develop and lead the strategy for its long-term growth.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participating in the development of the e-commerce platform with our web-design partners.
Prepare and monitor seasonal & annual sales forecasts.
Oversee marketing initiatives that drive traffic to the site and make sure that these initiatives are consistent with the retail channel.
Manage all site enhancements; make recommendations on enhancements to improve conversion rate and user experience.
Prepare & analyze site KPIs (weekly, seasonally, annually), including but not limited to: Style selling, sources of site traffic & conversion.
Evaluate the effectiveness of online marketing advertising (Paid Search, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, E-Mail, Social Media and other forms of advertising).
Oversee merchandising of the site, partnering with the general merchandise manager.
In-season, partner with merchants to promote product as appropriate and to manage replenishment of on-going product.
Oversee management of layout and content; ensure brand image is communicated through effective product presentation, site features and functionality.
Participate in the creation of the operational procedures to pick, pack and ship products to the customer.
Oversee photographers, stylists and copywriters responsible for product photography and catalog maintenance.
Supervising, managing and training the entire e-commerce team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree.
Strong fashion background.
3-5 years experience in managing an e-commerce site, email or direct marketing or related fields; multi-channel retail experience preferred. Clothing and/or shoe experience a huge plus.
Experience having worked with Retail Pro is a plus. Experience with Magento E-Commerce Platform is also a plus.
Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of Omniture Analytics or Google Analytics is preferred.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to review metrics on an on-going basis, analyze,draw conclusions and recommend immediate action.
Entrepreneurial; ability to drive forward with goals independently.
