*ONLINE MARKETING MANAGER (PAID SEARCH MAVEN) (Midtown East)

We're looking for an experienced online marketing manager with significant management, strategy, and team-building experience. Candidates need to be absolute top performers - intelligent, analytical, net-savvy, and creative - and willing to work hard as part of a larger team. This position is ideal for a online search maven looking to work in a high-performance, results driven environment. Commute to our Long Island office from Penn Station is only 35 minutes, and we're planning to open a Manhattan office soon.

QUALIFICATIONS

4-7 years of online marketing experience in ROI-driven, highly accountable Search Marketing and Affiliate Marketing campaigns

3+ years of experience directly managing Search Marketing

High level of hands-on experience, strategic thinking, and analytical capability

Solution-oriented thinker with a strong attention to detail, analytics, and persuasive presentation of data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to turn empirical data into insightful, strategic decisions and tactical plans

Experience with Landing Page Testing and Optimization

Experience with other online media formats (Display, Email, Co-Reg, Contextual, etc.) a strong plus.

Experience with design work is a very nice PLUS

Must have experience in search marketing.

REQUIRED TACTICAL EXPERIENCE

Hands-on experience and direct management of online campaigns across a number of media vendors and tools (including, but not limited to: Google, Yahoo!, MSN, CJ, Linkshare, etc.)

Extensive use of PPC bidding tools (AD WORDS EDITOR), as well as hands-on/manual PPC techniques

Experience with all online marketing related technologies, including HTML, pixel and non-pixel based tracking, datafeeds, XML, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ownership of and accountability for Search Marketing P&L

Manage the campaigns for a few different websites (ranging from a sunglass site to a magazine subscription brokerage service)

Supervise development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive plans and strategy to achieve our daily/monthly/annual objectives

Oversee reporting and analytics processes for multiple channels

Review and standardize tools and documents used by the Services and Account Management teams.

Manage high-level relationships with primary vendors (Google, Yahoo!, MSN, Commission Junction, Linkshare, etc.) including process, negotiations, and affiliate pricing.

Implement intelligent and disciplined testing to increase web site and landing page conversion rates across clients

Work with Account Management team to facilitate client communications flow and fulfill Client needs

Support Business Development with collateral, research, and support Account Management in Client presentations for Search and Affiliate.

Identify / assess online marketing trends to develop new marketing opportunities for ArkNet Media

ArkNet Media is a small but growing interactive agency based out of Valley Stream, LI. Our office is just a 35 minute train ride from Penn Station, and we're looking to get an office in Manhattan within 2-3 months. We own and operate eCommerce sites, such as, www.MagazineDiscountCenter.com, www.SunglassAmerica.com, www.LensDirect.com, www.BirthdayPartyBooker.com, and are in the process of launching home security sites in conjunction with ADT.
