Yoh/Colorado Springs, COYoh has a direct hire opportunity for an Oracle DBA to join our client in Colorado Springs ,CO.
Job Responsibilities:

- Perform Oracle and Informix database administration and support for mission critical manufacturing applications including Workstream and Klarity ACE
- Perform database administration and support for other databases and applications as needed.
- Perform database installation, patch updates and release upgrades. Assist with migrations.
- Ensure optimal performance and high availability for databases in high volume 24x7 operations to meet or exceed service metrics.
- Set up and maintain effective backup, restore and verification procedures for databases.
- Develop and implement operational support plans and procedures for database systems.
- Identify problem trends and implement corrective actions. Develop proactive alerts

Job Qualifications:

- Strong skills in Oracle database administration, including Oracle 8.1.x, 9i, 10g, 11g
- Working knowledge of operating systems. Prefer Solaris, Windows Server, Linux Red Hat
- Strong SQL, PLSQL, Oracle internals, RMAN.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to perform on-call and after hours support as required
