Yoh/Saint Louis, MOYoh has a contract opportunity for an Oracle Engineer with expertise in Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA and J2EE environments to join our client in St. Louis, MO.

Job Overview:
The role of the Oracle Engineer includes but is not limited to architecture, design, maintenance and support of complicated J2EE environments utilizing Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and Oracle SOA Suite as part of a managed hosting solution.  This position focuses more on operations support so candidates with strong web server background are needed.  

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain 99.95% availability for all Hosting products and infrastructure
- Interface with external clients and internal organizations to improve and implement process, procedures and automation or redundant tasks
- 24 x 7 support of multiple complicated J2EE environments that utilize Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Service Bus, and Oracle SOA Suite
- Perform crisis management when necessary including root cause analysis
- Design and implement support standards for new and complicated web based environments
- Possess expertise in Oracle Service Bus and Oracle SOA Suite administration

Essential duties:

- Provide world class customer service
- Perform application deployments
- Architect and implement enterprise web environments
- Troubleshoot problems related to web architecture and applications in conjunction with the application developers and the vendors
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- May include minor development troubleshooting in Java/J2ee
- Work with external clients to provide solutions that fit within the constraints of our environment
- Crisis management
- Deep application expertise and understanding of modern web hosting technologies
- Ability to analyze and resolve performance issues
- Provide off-hours support as needed
- Document and automate processes within the hosting environment

Job Qualifications:

- The candidate for this position must be at an expert level and possess six (6) or more years of experience with the installation, configuration, and setup of  the following:  Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA Suite
- Experience with designing and supporting /administration Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
Configuration and deployment of enterprise applications in Oracle Service Bus
- Extensively used Oracle Service Bus (OSB) for routing and transformation Services
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, tracking, and tuning performance of  Oracle SOA Suite/Service Bus environment
- Expert in Apache installation, configuration, and administration
- Basic understanding of at least 2 of the following application servers, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Resin
- The candidate will be involved in system engineering activities within several environments, development, architecture and interface implementation activities, working closely with customer and internal technical teams.
- Understanding of Oracle 9i-10g-11g RAC, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- Wily Introscope/Precise I3 knowledge is a plus
- Application monitoring and tuning
- Basic RedHat Linux system administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

- J2EE Development for enterprise level applications
- Actuate, Cognos, Interwoven, Repliweb, & Control-M experience highly desired
- Strong Shell scripting, Python, and Perl programming experience
- Expert understanding of 2 or more of the following application servers, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, and Resin Application Server
- F5 BigIp knowledge and administration

Education or Equivalent Experience:

- Preferred Four year college degree or equivalent experience

6 or more years experience administering Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA Suite, and Apache HTTP Server
