Passionate, creative professional to lead Web design and development (SoHo)

Studio One Networks, a fast-growing online media company, seeks a passionate, bright, creative professional to lead our Web design and production team. You will assist with building, maintaining and improving our Web programs and back end systems and technologies. Duties will include but are not limited to making adjustments to existing Web sites, adding functionality, Web development, using and customizing our CMS, managing content loading and quality control, managing external Web hosting providers, managing external Web developers, graphic editing, and managing external graphic and Web designers.

Specific required skills and qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Web design and development.

• Proficiency in HTML, XML, PHP, Perl, tableless CSS, Flash/Actionscript 2 and 3, mySQL, phpMyAdmin and AJAX.

• Priori experience developing PHP applications.

• Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.

• Understanding of Microsoft Office Applications such as Visio and PowerPoint a plus.

• Understanding of what is possible on the Web.

• Prior experience managing outside vendors.

• Ability to work both independently and as a team.

• Ability to manage multiple projects against strict deadlines.

• Ability to work well under pressure.

• Proven ability to come up with creative solutions to complex problems.

• An innovative spirit to help us improve our products.
