Project Manager for a growing web agency (Los Angeles)

SPINX, Inc., a Los Angeles based, fast growing company is looking for a high-energy, aggressive, passionate Project Manager to oversee projects and work with our clients on a day to day basis. Apart from web-based business solutions, we specialize in mobile applications, online marketing and related consulting services. Responsibilities:

The individual will be overseeing the day-to-day life cycle of the project which will include:

- Meeting with existing and/or prospective clients to understand project objectives

- Determining design and technical requirements

- Project planning which will include creating sitemaps and wireframes

- Oversee design process including directing designer(s) and approval process with clients

- Creating Scope of Work documents and ensuring programming has solid understanding of requirements

- Managing budgets and timelines between programming and clients

- Responsible for QA/testing and coordinating project launch

Requirements:

- A minimum of two years of experience as a Project Manager at a web design company or interactive agency is preferred

- Must be comfortable in a client-facing capacity acting as the single point of contact for client

- Experience working with large/complicated websites and high-profile clients is preferred

- A solid understanding of the entire development process in terms of programming and integrating it with designing. No technical/programming knowledge

required but solid understanding the programming requirements is a must.

- Former professional experience using graphical/web tools/software like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash is preferred but not required

- General understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Flash Action Scripting

- Mobile and app experience preferred but not required

- Ability to lead project and manage team of programmers and designers

- A good design sense and a sense to understand client requirements is a must

- Excellent people skills

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and see a project through from start to finish, with minimal oversight

- Attention to detail and passion for professionalism
