Yoh/Silver Spring, MDYoh has a contract opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client in Silver Spring, MD.
Job Responsibilities:

- Program management / delivery role in support of business process reeengineering efforts across Wireline.
- Individual will help turn concepts into delivery plans, will perform cost/benefit analysis to vet opportunities for quantifiable benefits, will influence key stakeholders to implement programs, will work with business and IT executives, management and/or associate workforce to understand manual activities or other process inefficiencies, and will make recommendations for improvement.
- Individual will have strong communications and presentation skills.
- Candidate will need to be flexible in terms of job locations at times travelling to Basking Ridge, NJ, Silver Spring, MD, and other locations at approximately monthly durations.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Demonstrates the ability to identify strategies needed to fix problems.
- Incumbent plans and carries out work independently and uses own initiative and judgment to handle non-routine matters and ambiguous issues
- Normally receives only general instructions on new or more complex assignments.
- Decisions are made independently and are acted upon by self and others.
- Establishing operating guidelines or methods for others.
- Provides leadership and direction to team members.
- Contact is typically advisory or negotiative in nature and involves both exchange of technical or complex information, and is called upon to convince or negotiate with senior levels of management or equivalents on matters of significant consequence to the company.

Job Qualifications:

- Demonstrates extensive knowledge in job-related functional area and of the business and industry or technology.
- Advanced proficiency with a broad variety of software development languages is required.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and 8-10 years of progressive, and technical analysis experience.
