Real Time Graphics Programmer / Yoh / New York, NY

Yoh/New York, NYYoh has a contract opportunity for a Real Time Graphic Programmer to join our client in New York, NY.
Job Overview:
The Real time graphics Programmer will contribute to the creation of scripts and functions for control of Real time systems using the systems SDK in combination with standard programming languages or the RTG proprietary controller software. The Programmer will be in charge of translating the producers and GPO operational needs into functional user interfaces for on air operation or easy setup for real time graphics.
Job Responsibilities:

- Implement on air ORAD and other RTG controllers for ArtWorks clients.
- Work closely with Real-Time Graphics Art Director to take concept of control from its main idea to a functionality controller using ORAD or other RTG systems SDK to control their render engines.
- Integrate data with real-time graphics (RTG).
- Research and apply programming knowledge to new interactive technologies.
- Responsible for the interconnection between databases and the real-time graphics systems for projects that require it.
- Responsible for coding on new interactive technologies using open source codes.
- Assist in troubleshooting derived from any issue related to programming of controllers.

Job Qualifications:

- Quick learning ability.
- Strong programming skills (VB script, C++).
- Strong DB experience and SQL query creation knowledge.
- Strong ability for logic creation.
- 1+ years of experience in a real-time graphics development.
- 3+ years of experience in TV graphics creation.
- Understanding of RTG creation and logic systems.
- Understating of RTG iNews integration and plug-in development.
- Experience working with a fast paced24/7 news environment.
- Motivation for new technologies research and programming for them.

Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

- Animation and design sensitivity.
- Knowledge with building 3D graphics in Maya and 3D Max.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
- Highly organized and able to budget his/her time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work effectively with many different individuals and personalities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
