iCrossing is a rapidly growing digital agency and we are looking to expand our Front end Development Team in our Los Angeles, Chicago, and Reston offices. We are interested in adding the best and the brightest to every level of our team.
Our Frontend development team is responsible for creating highly interactive and immersive interfaces for Web, Mobile, Social and Rich Internet Applications using JavaScript, XHTML and CSS. To excel youll need a solid understanding of OOP concepts, JavaScript and various JavaScript libraries, Social APIs, Web application architecture, and complex CSS layouts.
Currently, we have openings at a variety of levels from Senior and Lead Developers to Frontend Architects. Depending on your experience, you may be an individual contributor enhancing your development skills, leading and mentoring more junior developers or architecting rich frontend solutions for a variety of projects.

All levels require some level of experience in the following technologies:
Native Browser Technologies
· Demonstrable ability to hand-code (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript
· Experience with writing semantically correct code
· Demonstrable experience with complex CSS layouts
· In-depth knowledge of the plethora of web browsers and their compatibility issues
· Experience using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. jQuery, Prototype.js, YUI, Dojo)
· Experience with various social networking APIs (e.g. Facebook OpenGraph, Twitter API, YouTube API)
· Understanding of Search Engine Optimization techniques for various Rich Media Technologies
· Knowledgeable in creating mobile websites for WebKit enabled browsers using HTML5 and CSS3
· Aware of the capabilities of various mobile devices and their ability to support mobile frameworks such as XUI, jQuery etc.
· Implementation experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, WebTrends, Omniture
· Familiarity with web based accessibility issues (section 508, ADA compliance etc.)
All candidates must have :
· Bachelors/Masters or equivalent work experience
· Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (depending on level of position desired)
· Strong interest in emerging technologies
