This team is part the Customer Service and Support (CSS) business group in the Worldwide Services division. We are expanding our team, and are looking for exceptional engineers who can design, build, test, and support ultra-large scale, high performance, high availability, mission critical business applications using Microsoft state-of-the-art technologies. We expect teammates to have a passion for technology and deep desire to solve business challenges.
We are seeking an exceptional software development engineer to bring his/her skills to the (hard!) problems that span from designing and building a highly scalable, reliable robust enterprise scale application and infrastructure to novel customer experience. The position offers the opportunity to work with some of the best minds in software and science as well as the rewarding challenges of incorporating many cutting-edge technologies. The candidate should be a smart, passionate, determined and technically strong software development engineer who is excited to jump on the opportunity to revolutionize the customer support experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience building highly scalable robust enterprise scale applications
Candidates must have a strong foundation in application design and development using C# and/or C/C++ and SQL.
Proven experience working with Managed code, XML expertise, and proficiency with Silverlight, ASP.NET, AJAX, WPF, WCF and Internet protocols (e.g., HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP, etc…) are preferred.
Should have an ability to analyze existing databases and understand the semantics of the data in them and advanced ability to analyze for performance and efficiency in complex systems.
Experience on business intelligence infrastructure design and development by using cutting-edge Microsoft SQL server analysis service, integration service, reporting services is a big plus.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, and Iterative) and the ability to flex to these development styles is a big plus.
Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or equivalent required or relevant work experience
