Yoh/Wilmington, DEYoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a Senior Business Data Analyst to join our client in Wilmington, DE. For the right candidate this position could become permanent or be a direct hire.
Job Responsibilities:

- Working on the Data Warehouse Team, you'll join Java J2EE, .Net, C#, ASP.Net, Oracle and Microsoft SQL application software developers to extract, mine, analyze, interpret, and load marketing data from Enterprise Data Warehouse, the PeopleSoft Financials General Ledger, and Cognos Business Intelligence reporting centers and packages.
- Design, create and implement data packages to enable targeted campaigns for Marketing.
- Support business management goals related to effectively using information and tools for optimal customer targeting, through proactive business support and advisory services.
- Drive dynamic campaigns via proactive monitoring and management of data quality, data source reconciliation against data warehouse. 
- Manage ad-hoc requests for changes to business rules.
- Develop data requirements and supervise reporting requests.
- Administer rules for data attributes sent to marketing decision engine.
- Ensure consistent and accurate reporting across the business by working very closely with business leaders, ERwin Data Modelers, and Cognos BI Data Warehouse Developers.
- Provide Level III support for Business Intelligence Change Management controls and the validation process.
- Support development of a common web-based Reporting portal to provide one-stop secured and reliable access to information in the corporate data warehouse.
- Support standard and customized reporting training to empower the customers in using the information and reporting tools.
- Develop scripts and SQL queries.
- Tune applications and relational databases to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct systems security assessments and risk analysis.
- Document procedures related to operating procedures, application designs, and user guides.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- Any one of: Java, .Net, SQL, PL-SQL, Oracle, or C/C++ experience. 
- 3+ years installing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Reporting software application development teams.  Call for details.
- Exposure to Code Management/Change control management procedures. 
- In-depth knowledge of RDBMS and strong SQL skills, Oracle preferred.
- Ability to develop complex functions in Interaction Advisor using Java script code.
- Automation and scripting experience to increase productivity.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to interface with all levels of IT, including software development, quality assurance, IT support, business groups, and management working towards a common goal. 
- Experience with data warehouse development and ETL methodologies.
- Business Intelligence / OLAP technology design and build solutions based on business needs in information retrieval and reporting.
- Good experience in data analysis, data warehouses and/or data marts.
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle and MS SQL relational and dimensional databases, PL/SQL and/or SQL programming.
- Creative / Results Oriented: Simplify processes and improve customer experience.
- Multi-tasker: Ability to manage and deliver multiple quality tasks within short timeframe.
