Yoh/Philadelphia, PAYoh has a contract opportunity for a Senior Buyer (Professional Services) to join our client, SAP America located in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

- Managing suppliers, developing and implementing commodity strategies ( with focus on Facility and Professional Services area)  , performing supplier capability assessments, continuous improvement and benchmarking world class suppliers to assist the present supply base and identify future suppliers.
- Exercises sound and ethical judgment in contract negotiations (including terms and conditions) to leverage highest level of quality at lowest cost. Serves as a vital interface to internal customer(s) and management as a recognized source of expertise for the sourcing function and responsible for cross commodity sourcing and leading/managing special projects.
- This position is accountable for cost effective sourcing and contracting. Responsibilities include negotiation of contractual terms and conditions and development of comprehensive scopes of work. Issues Request For Proposals (RFPs), performs competitive supplier evaluations, and participates in and implements the organization's strategic and tactical plans while driving action cross functionally that may affect organizational policies, practices, processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in the purchasing function including knowledge of and experience in contracting, bid evaluation, analysis techniques, and project management.
- Requires a balance of assertiveness, tact, and diplomacy along with exceptional oral/presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Word application skills and SAP background preferred but not required.   
- CPM certification desired.
- Must have expeirence dealing with professional vendors and arranging contracts by providing the terms and conditions.
- Must have experience drawing up contracts, negotiating terms and conditions.
