Senior Designer (Los Angeles, CA or San Luis Obispo, CA)
LEVEL, is looking for a Senior Designer who has a passion for the web and application interface. Youre a usability junkie. Face it, bad design makes your skin crawl - beautiful design puts a smile on your face. You sweat every pixel, but still understand the big picture. Responsibilities:
The Senior Designer is a strategic thinker who understands the impact that design has on business. They have the confidence and integrity to present in front of clients and articulate concepts, along with a strong affinity for branding and identity creation, creative focus, designer genes and technical ability.
The Sr. Designer is responsible for executing solid designs that speak to the creative and art direction provided. They also work well as a team member on an account, understands how teams operate, and knows what is expected in critiques and team meetings, working closely to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message and functions successfully. The Senior Designer may take on creative lead responsibility and is expected to mentor designers.
Requirements:
A well-crafted and curate online portfolio is required to apply for this position
3+ yrs overall experience preferred including:
2+ yrs as a graphic designer in one of the following areas: multimedia, agency creative or graphic design
1+ yrs experience in Internet design
Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent work experience (fine art, graphic design, interactive design etc.).
