Yoh/Philadelphia, PAYoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client in Philadelphia, PA. supporting 3K+ user base with multiple sites and mobile workforce.
Job Overview:
You'll join an established data communications team as Sr. Network Engineer and enjoy the freedom to engage in end-to-end design, installation, management, and problem-solving in a cutting-edge environment.   
Job Responsibilities:

- Perform Cisco iOS, Avaya, ATM, Frame-Relay, network hardware, & software installation and administration.
- Implement Cisco Routers and Switches, VoIP, network topology audits, IDS/IPS security and WAN project plans.
- Support core gigabit Cisco 6500 routers and private fiber optic network to ensure datacenter heartbeat synchronization.
- Network installation, disaster recovery, and reporting for special projects that increase uptime.
- Monitor LAN / WAN Systems and conduct proactive analysis  on performance and availability.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing; Ensure no single point of failure for mission critical network.
- Tune TCP/IP  to ensure optimal SAN performance (tuning enterprise network operating systems). 
- Conduct network security assessments and risk analysis.  Security Hardening.
- Document procedures related to network and VoIP configuration, systems backup, and disaster recovery.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Cisco CCNA, VoIP, ATM, Frame Relay, network services, TCP/IP configuration & troubleshooting skills.  Some Microsoft Windows Server and LINUX helpful from a theoretical perspective. 
- 7+ years designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco in a fast-paced, mission-critical organization. Call me at number below to learn email address for resume submittal.

- Some experience with the following helpful, but not necessary: Polycom Video Conferencing, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Network General Sniffer, Cisco Works.
- Cisco Routers - 7500, 7200, 2600, 2500.  Cisco Switches - 6500, 5500, 4700, 4500, Load Balancing concepts, Cisco PIX and ASA Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, EIGRP, RIP, BGP, TCP/IP, Avaya VoIP, Cisco 1200 Series AP,  Ethernet, Gigabit, MPLS, Frame Relay, T1, T3, OC3, OC12, ATM, Trunking, VTP, VLANS, NAT/PAT, VLSM, Spanning Tree.
