Job Description: CollegeBudget is a private sales site exclusively for students. It is a venture backed by one of the largest college web portals with access to 1 million users to start. Think big opportunity and potential to be Groupon of the student market.
We are looking for a true ninja, one part all of the following:
-PHP technical lead
-Server, scalability expert
-Project Manager (can manage development tasks & build team as needed)
-Tech Admin (monitor site, backups, and resolve issues)
-Problem solver. (can predict potential tech issues before occurring. Solve them when they happen).
-Strategic (understands the business and can help it grow)

Qualifications:
- Expert level PHP skills (min. 3 years experience) including object oriented programming (LAMP environment)
- Proficiency with HTML/CSS
- Server/System admin- advanced level
- Experience with PHP frameworks (CakePHP is a major plus)
- Experience with Social Media APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Youtube) is a plus
- Experience with Quality Assurance work
- Personable
- Understands the daily deal model
- Enthusiastic about this idea
- Can lead the engineering team
- Can work from our office in Beverly Hills
Job Type
-Fulltime, part-time or contract. Contract/part-time to grow into full-time is doable too.
