Yoh/Mascoutah, ILYoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a Senior Software Analyst (Java/Agile) to support our client at Scott AFB in southern Illinois. Â
Possession of or the ability to obtain a DOD Security is required as a condition for employment.
Job Overview:
This individual should have a broad range of experience in the IT engineering curriculums with a special emphasis in Java/Agile applications, systems integration, interfaces, networking and hardware capabilities. Clear, concise writing and speaking skills are necessary to communicate with various customer levels and to help prepare briefings for the customer. Strong research and attention to detail are necessary to complete documentation, decision briefs, information assurance documentation, and other required documents for technical and budgetary approval.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze existing Java applications and make recommendations for enhancements improved performance
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to evaluate programs in progress
- Ability to evaluate and estimate new requirements
- Solid background in J2EE architecture and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Be able to generate and review program support documents pertaining to regulations and program requirements
- Knowledge of project management application and principles
- Knowledge of network infrastructure principles
- BPM experience
- Knowledge of DoD and DISA regulations and instructions
- Knowledge of licensing requirements of popular OS and applications; knowledge of IP configuration; optimization of CPU
- Experience with virtual environment creation, management and use in servers and workstations
