Senior Application Integration Developer

As a key part of Microsoft's business solutions portfolio, Microsoft Dynamics NAV delivers a flexible, state-of-the-art, yet simple suite of technologies to help our customers improve resource management, customer relationship, and supply chain management. Our solutions are delivered through a network of channel partners providing specialized services. These integrated, adaptable business solutions work like and with familiar Microsoft software (Office, SQL, .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint Server) to streamline processes across an entire business.
You will be part of the Dynamics NAV Integration Team, working with n-tier integration designs and synchronization patterns based on core Microsoft technologies such as C#, Azure, BizTalk, Exchange and Office. With the focus on the Dynamics NAV business you will help broaden the reach of NAV using C/AL, XML, VSTO, WCF and other technologies.
We expect you to have experience working in multiple development cycles to build an application used commercially.
The ideal candidate should aim for high quality throughout the process from idea to final code. Therefore, you should be capable of a productive and respectful partnership with Program Managers and Testers. In this position, you will also need to have excellent design skills and be able to write code that accounts for corner cases with the first check-in.
Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the code and lead the development on specific integration components in NAV.
Work closely with Program Managers, Testers and other team members to define and validate the functional and non-functional requirements your features.
Design elegant and consistent solutions that fit into the overall architecture.
Create high quality code that is considered exemplary and best practice for the product.
Create automated Unit Tests that validates the functionality
Ensure high quality of all created deliverables in the development lifecycle.
We are looking for:
Education or working experience at Masters/Bachelors level.
Someone who has mastered complex development on large scale, preferably within ERP or other administrative systems.
Strong technical and analytical skills (10+ years of technical experience).
Ability to identity patterns across projects and implementations and to participate in architecture and vision discussions.
Strong design and programming skills.
Strong debugging skills and the proven ability to quickly understand other developers' code.
A passion for quality, delivering complete solutions with automated tests.
A passion for creating a great user experience.
Commitment to team play.
Clear and effective communication skills.
A good command of written and spoken English.
You will be further qualified if you have:
C/AL and C# programming skills.
Experience working with technologies like Web Services, Office Integration and BizTalk
Knowledge within Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
