Our job is to drive the next generation of the security and identity infrastructure for Windows Azure and we need good people.

We are the Venice team and are part of the Directory, Access and Identity Platform (DAIP) team which owns Active Directory and its next generation cloud equivalents. Venice's job is to act as the customer team within DAIP that represents the needs of the Windows Azure and the Windows Azure Platform Appliance teams. We directly own delivering in the near future the next generation security and identity service that will enable Windows Azure and Windows Azure Platform Appliance to boot up and operate. In this role you will:

• Own and deliver test assets of Windows Azure's next generation boot time security and identity infrastructure

• Work closely with DAIP and Azure test teams insuring integration of the services

• Advocate for product quality and provide critical input into team strategy and priorities

• Initiate and promote engineering best practices constantly improving engineering experience

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software design, and development experience with C++, C#, Java or .Net programming

• 3+ years of experience leading/architecting test automation development for shipped software

• Excellent technical skills, attention to detail, strong debugging and problem solving skills

• Expertise in test automation frameworks and utilization of appropriate test methodologies and tools

• Strong customer focus and passion for doing the right thing for the customer

• Experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product delivery

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and TDD a plus

• A BS degree in computer science, related discipline or equivalent experience
