Confidential/Seattle, WA (work from home, part time)We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to take over the lead developer role of our anime-themed website community. If you are well versed in open-source technologies, are comfortable with making decisions, and are looking to manage a fun and challenging website development project, we would like to speak with you. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality for our existing fan base of nearly 400,000 users a month.

What's required:

• Expert PostgreSQL 9.0 experience
• Strong PHP 5.3 experience
• Fluent in HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / AJAX
• Linux Server Administration experience
• Superb oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of best practices concerning software engineering and database development
• The ability to work independently
• Subversion / Git experience

What's nice to have:

• Mobile application development experience
• MVC experience
• BS / MS in Computer Science, Database Administration, or related field
• C / C++ experience
• Project Management experience
• Unit Testing experience
• A love (or interest!) of anime
