We are a team of 5 high-tech professionals working on an e-commerce platform with a local twist. To date, we have outsourced the development and have a working prototype of our website. We have been receiving positive feedback from the marketplace, and we are now looking to bring the development in-house. We are looking for a senior web developer to lead and take part in every step of the product development process, from iterative product specification to prototyping to architecture to deployment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment, be highly self-sufficient, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working closely with other engineers and designers in small functional groups.

QUALIFICATIONS
A qualified candidate would have:
* 3+ years of professional programming experience
* Solid software development skills in PHP and LAMP environment (including Zend) are a must
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred)
* Experience with source control systems (svn, cvs)

The ideal candidate would also have:
* Experience with rapid prototyping and agile software development practices
* Experience with QA testing
* Some experience with Ruby on Rails
