The Search Agency a fast-growing Search Engine Marketing firm in Santa Monica, CA has a phenomenal opportunity for a Linking and Promotions Analyst to join our team of dedicated, client-focused professionals.
The Analyst will identify a wide variety of strategies and opportunities including partner linking, directory submissions, social networking campaigns, linkbait initiatives and other relationship building activities.
Other duties include cultivating viral marketing ideas, staying active in the Blogging community, and maintaining active profiles on community sites such as Digg, Delicious, Facebook, MySpace, Youtube and other similar sites.
This exciting position offers the opportunity to:
Collaborate with clients to research and maintain target keywords for inbound link anchor text
Analyze data and report key findings and recommendations to clients
Generate and distribute monthly traffic, ranking and other vital reports
Provide answers to questions related to their organic search program
Continually gain more search engine optimization knowledge and share new strategies with clients
Travel occasionally to client sites and conference locations
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or Computer Science
Project Management experience, ideally in Search Engine Optimization, B2B and B2C, preferred
In-depth understanding of Internet marketing practices
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
Experience working with web analytic software, such as Google Analytics, Omniture, HBX, NetTracker, ClickTracks, and WebTrends
Experience working with designers and IT staff to develop or maintain websites a plus
Superior organizational and analytical skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Keen attention to detail and consistent ability to meet deadlines
Focus on client service and satisfaction
Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft® Word and Excel
