  • Converting product requirements into a well thought through, cleanly coded end product
  • Contribute to the corporate branding and brand guidelines
  • Rapidly prototyping and evaluating front-end designs
  • Working in a team environment, collaborating with back-end developers, lead designers, and product managers
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Staying abreast of new technology to maintain the highest standard of work with extreme attention to detail

Requirements:

  • This role as a Senior Front End Developer requires skills in visual design, information architecture, interaction design, code execution and a solid understanding of current rich internet application and web technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering  or related field preferred, or the equivalent job-related experience and training. Industry knowledge and experience required.
  • 3+ years experience as Senior Developer position
  • 5+ years of professional experience with web development in production environments for high traffic web sites
  • Ability to transform complex layout (PSD and/or Wireframes) into pixel-perfect presentation-layer (front-end) HTML/CSS/JS templates
  • Experience with server-side languages (PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery)
  • Experience utilizing data-driven websites and Content Management Systems
  • Solid understanding of web browser technologies and cross-browser coding techniques
  • Solid understanding of web standards, accessibility and SEO best practices
  • Familiar and comfortable with HTML5, CSS3 and the concepts of Progressive Enhancement and Graceful Degradation
  • Familiar and comfortable with common APIs (Facebook, Google, Amazon EC2/S3, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
  • Familiar and comfortable with formal QA methodologies, processes and techniques
  • Very strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Subversion for Source Control
  • Experience with mobile web development
  • Experience in product development, media, marketing or advertising preferred
