We seek a programmer with 3 years experience in software development, experience with use of open source (LAMP) technologies, and strong object oriented design and enterprise system background. The selected candidate will be working on Waiting Room Solutions Electronic Medical Record and interfaces with third party system using HL7 messaging.

The Waiting Room Solutions system is an Enterprise system delivered through the web in a SaaS model for physician's offices. There is no on-premises software necessary. We seek someone to work on our Electronic Health Record and HL-7 connections to third- party systems.

System Architecture: LAMP, Delivered over the web in SaaS model.

Off-Shore Candidates: We are amenable to programmers working from a remote location as most of our meetings and workspaces are online. We would consider sponsoring H1B visas based upon evaluating the individual circumstances.

Qualifications:
Required
• Experience with N-tier architecture system design.
• Extensive LAMP/PHP programming experience on open source platform.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design. Advanced programming skills, with experience working on complicated designs, highly optimized code, and commercial-grade software projects.
• Experience establishing an enterprise framework for all phases of software development: requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Outstanding software debugging skills. Adept at debugging complex applications with multi-threaded algorithms, real time processing, or multiple interfaces with other systems.
• Experience with phpMyAdmin
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience with PHP and SQL is required. Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XSLT, SOAP is a plus
• BS or MS in Computer Science and 3 years work experience developing n-tier web based systems.
Preferred
• Experience with healthcare
• Ability to create detailed functional and technical design specifications for software development efforts.
• Experience working on healthcare systems that use messaging standards of HL-7 and X12 .
