Job Description

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Software Engineer – Oracle to join our client in Palm Bay, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

- Application administration for the Sunflower Asset Management system, using Oracle database, Oracle Job Description:
- Application administration for the Sunflower Asset Management system, using Oracle database, Oracle application server, and web based client.
- Support multiple environments for user acceptance and regression testing.
- Manage application server, and web based client.
- Manage and install reports and application patches.
- Troubleshoot and report application and system problems.
- Utilize ClearCase and install reports and application patches.
- Must and Remedy for problem and resolution tracking.
- Apply standard IT principles, concepts, practices, and techniques.

Job Requirements

- BSCS, BSSE BSIS or equivalent with at least 2 years experience
- Demonstrate leadership skills to identify systemic problems and to provide problems and improve the development environment.

- Experience with three-tier COTS software implementation using Oracle database and Windows server.
- Previous experience with application administration required.
- Change management experience database and Windows server.
- Experience with Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) preferred.
- Must be familiar with software life cycle development methodologies.
- Development experience with Oracle 10g/11g and PL/SQL preferred.
- Possess organizational skills, development methodologies.
- Possess organizational skills, problem solving skills, and a willingness to work with teams, individuals, customer, and suppliers to troubleshoot application problem solving skills, and a willingness to work with teams, individuals, customer, and suppliers to troubleshoot application problems and improve the development environment.
- Rotation of on call support required.
