Position Summary
This Mid level Software Engineer will support the development team by developing fully integrated high traffic web-based database applications in support of business operations.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Work as a team in a fast paced development environment.
Communicate with team lead and take instructions well.
Keep informed and trained on fast paced changes in web technologies.
Responsible for testing and completing assigned units in development.
Overtime and weekend work is periodically required
Essential Qualifications (Skills, Background, and Education)
Knowledgeable with software development and testing methodologies
Proficiency with C#.NET required. Knowledge of .Net Framework 3.x plus.
Proficient with ASP.NET 2.0.
Proficient with Visual Studio 2008. 2010 preferred.
Knowledge of SQL and MS-SQL 200X
Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and Ajax.
Knowledge of IIS 6.0.
Ability to effectively communicate, coordinate and work with other team members.
Good research, problem solving, analytics, and diagnostic skills.
Education
Bachelors degree required.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience developing computer software.
Minimum of 2 year using ASP.NET (C#.Net and/or VisualBasic.Net)
Minimum of 1 year using MS-SQL 200X
Complexity
Moderately complex application(s), primarily within Build and Implementation phases.
Work Location: Los Angeles Office
