Software as a service is the new wave that's driving Microsoft into the future. The Online Commerce Platform (OCP) team which is part of the Business Online Services (BOS) group is building the platform that delivers Microsoft online services to a wide spectrum of businesses and partners. The division has been in existence for just a couple of years and is growing rapidly. This is growing team with lots of opportunity to have a huge impact. The Online Commerce Platform (OCP) team is the arm of BOS responsible for building out the business systems platform across all of our commercial online services. The business platform includes commercial aspects of trials and subscription activations, offers, promotions, rating and billing, customer care, and other critical services. We want to transform the way software is delivered to businesses.

The OCP Health and Platform Integration team is looking for top notch SDETs with a thorough understanding of testing methodologies, a passion for quality, a strong technical background to advance our processes, and a desire to make a positive change in our product. Candidates should have the capability to drive test architecture, strategy and implementation across multiple features.

This is a very dynamic job with lots of interesting big challenges in this space. As a SDET in our team, you will have the opportunity to work with bright people on cool software, develop your technical and leadership skills, and have a lot of fun delivering world-class, innovative services to our customers!

Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with software design and development using C# or C++
• 2+ years of experience with test planning, design and development for shipped products
• Excellent design, coding, testing, problem solving and debugging skills

The successful candidate will also have:
• Strong communication and cross group collaboration skills
• Passion for taking services online and being a strong advocate for quality from a customer perspective
• Motivation to learn quickly and work in a fast paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to drive projects to completion with limited supervision
• UX and UI test experience and passion for quality

The following preferred skills or experience would be an advantage in this position:
• Experience with Web Services using SOAP and/or Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Experience with .NET and web service based API testing
• Familiarity with SQL Server/Database programming
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
