The ideal candidate will have business knowledge, programming skills, a passion for creating quality software, and solid collaboration skills to ensure that high quality processes are created. We are looking for a motivated, customer focused, technical and accountable individual that will drive feature set testing; participate in test automation and engage with customers and partners to ship a great product. You should have a solid technical background in understanding object-oriented programming, test automation and implementing solid test infrastructure and processes. You should be a customer advocate with a passion for improving the way our customers run their business.

As SDET II, your core responsibilities will include:
• Owning and testing feature areas for Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Developing detailed test designs, writing automation , working with the Dev and PM teams to ensure the features meet product requirements, are shipped with high quality and on schedule, participating in feature and design review to ensure the testability of the features.
• Providing technical guidance to vendor test resources, as needed
• Improve and extend test automation infrastructure to support testing the product

Qualifications:

Successful candidates are self-motivated individual contributors and problem solvers, with strong technical background, demonstrated experience shipping software applications with a 12+ month product lifecycle and have a proven record of great cross-group collaboration and indirect leadership; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; good attention to detail and passion for quality; the ability to work as a team player. Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in supporting, developing or testing a commercial software product, experience with C# and the .NET framework, worked with automation tools and approaches. Background in testing Business Applications, X++ is a big plus. Ability to work across time zones to collaborate with teams across multiple locations (Redmond, Fargo, Copenhagen, India, and China). A bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer science or related discipline is required.

In addition to strong technical skills and computer science background or equivalent experience, this position will require knowledge of the needs of the various testing-related customer roles and the products and technologies they use. In order to succeed in this role, you must have a passion and track record of working with teams to build innovative and easy to use products that solve real-world customer problems.
